Andebu is a village in Sandefjord Municipality in Vestfold county, Norway. The village is located about 20 kilometres (12 mi) north of the city of Sandefjord and about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) to the west of the city of Tønsberg.[3]
The 1.83-square-kilometre (450-acre) village has a population (2022) of 2,532 and a population density of 1,381 inhabitants per square kilometre (3,580/sq mi).[1]
Historically, the village was the administrative centre of the old Andebu Municipality which existed from 1838 until its dissolution on 1 January 2017.[3] The medieval Andebu Church is located on the north side of the village. Andebu elementary school and Andebu secondary school are both located in the village.
